🎞️ GIF Maker
Combine several images into one animated GIF. It's built in this browser only — nothing is uploaded.
Put images in order and combine them into a single animated GIF. Choose the width, how long each frame shows, whether it loops forever or plays once, and whether smaller images are fitted or cropped. The GIF is built right in your browser and nothing is uploaded.
Add at least two images, use ↑↓ to order them, and choose the width, the delay per frame and whether to loop forever or play once. When images have different sizes, decide whether to fit them inside or fill and crop. Create the GIF, check the result and download it. It's useful for slideshows, stickers and short before/after loops.
Frequently asked questions
Why does my GIF look a little grainy?
A GIF can only hold 256 colors per image, so photos lose some smoothness. Keep "Dithering" on to blend colors and hide banding, or turn it off for flat graphics where a cleaner look matters more.
How do I make the GIF file smaller?
Use a smaller width, fewer frames, or a longer delay between frames. Width and frame count have the biggest effect on file size.
My images are different sizes — what happens?
All frames are scaled to the same canvas, based on the first image. "Fit inside" keeps each whole image and fills the gaps with white or black, while "Fill & crop" covers the canvas and trims the edges.
How long should each frame show?
Around 100–200 ms gives smooth motion for a sequence of similar frames. For slideshows where people need time to read each image, try 500–2000 ms.
Can I make a GIF from a video?
No. This tool builds a GIF from still images only.
Why does it say my GIF is too big to create?
The browser has to hold every frame in memory. When the number of frames times the width and height is too large, you'll be asked to use fewer images or a smaller width.
