Frequently asked questions
Do phone photos come out sideways?
No — the browser already applies the orientation stored in the photo when displaying it, so rotating and saving happens exactly as you see it on screen.
Does this reduce image quality?
JPG and WebP are re-encoded when saved, which can cause a very small change (at quality 92). PNG is lossless, so there's no change.
Can I rotate or flip more than once?
Yes — press the buttons as many times as you like, and use "Reset" to go back to the original orientation at any time. The file is only actually re-saved once, when you click download.
