Frequently asked questions
What happens to the part outside the crop?
It's not included in the result at all — it's cut away completely. You'd need to re-upload the original file to get it back.
What ratio presets are available?
Besides free-form cropping: square (1:1), 4:3, 3:4, 16:9, 9:16, Instagram portrait (4:5), link preview (1.91:1), and X header (3:1).
Does cropping reduce quality?
Cropping itself doesn't reduce quality. Saving as JPG or WebP re-encodes the result, though, which can cause a very small change.
