✂️ Split Image
Cut one image into an even grid of pieces and download them all as a ZIP. Your image never leaves this browser.
Cut a single image into equal pieces by choosing how many columns and rows you want, with quick layouts like 2×2 and 3×3. A preview shows exactly where the lines fall, and all the pieces download together in one ZIP, numbered in order.
Add an image, set the number of columns and rows or tap a quick layout like 2×2 or 3×3, and check the preview lines. All pieces download together in one ZIP. It's useful for Instagram carousels and grid posts, puzzles, or splitting a large poster.
Frequently asked questions
How are the pieces numbered?
Left to right, then top to bottom — 01 is the top-left piece. The files are named like photo_01.png and come together in one ZIP.
What if the size doesn't divide evenly?
The cut lines are rounded to the nearest pixel, so some pieces can be one pixel bigger than others. Together they cover the whole image with no gaps or overlaps.
How many pieces can I make?
Up to 10 columns and 10 rows (100 pieces). The image must be 30MB or less and under about 16 million pixels.
How do I make a 3-image panorama for Instagram?
Choose 3 columns and 1 row. Then upload the pieces in the order 01, 02, 03, from left to right.
Does splitting reduce the image quality?
The image isn't scaled, so every piece keeps its original sharpness.
Can I split the image into pieces of different sizes?
No. The pieces are equal grid cells. To cut out a custom area, use the Image Crop tool.
