🔲 Round Corners & Border
Round the corners of an image, add a border or padding, and download it. Your image never leaves this browser.
Round an image's corners, turn a square photo into a circle, add a colored border, or surround the image with padding in any background color — or leave it transparent. Handy for profile pictures, app icons, thumbnails, stickers and screenshots.
All sizes are set as a percentage of the image's shorter side, so the same settings look the same on a small icon and on a large photo. The corner radius goes from square to a full circle (50%). Rounded corners only show up against a transparent background, so the result is saved as a PNG or WebP, which both keep transparency.
Frequently asked questions
How do I make a circular image?
Use a square image (crop it to 1:1 first with the Crop tool if needed) and choose the Circle preset (50%). On a rectangular image, 50% gives a pill shape instead.
Why do the corners look white or black instead of transparent?
Some viewers draw transparency as white or black. Keep Background on Transparent and save as PNG or WebP — the corners are truly transparent in the saved file. JPG cannot be transparent, which is why it is not offered.
What do border and padding do?
The border is a colored ring that follows the rounded edge of the image. Padding adds empty space around the image and its border, filled with a color or left transparent.
Why is the download button disabled?
Adding a lot of padding or border to a very large image can make the result bigger than this tool can safely process in your browser. Lower the border or padding, or shrink the image first with the Resize tool.
Is my image uploaded anywhere?
No. Everything happens in your browser and the image never leaves your device.
